"Spellbinding...action packed prose...
The book reads more like a novel than
a military history...the Horse Soldier's
secret mission remains the U.S.
military's finest moment in what has
what has since arguably been a muddled war."
I’ve been away– I was in Afghanistan recently and traveled to different parts of the country, and met with members of the Afghan government and NATO and ISAF. A fascinating trip to a complex place.
Just finished “in harms way” and it was an extrodinary book!!I knew a little about this event, saw a tv movie about it when I was in my early 20’s and never forgot about their plight.I opened your novel at noon and did not close it till it was finished.I’m gonna go get horse soldiers today. Thanks for keeping the incredible deeds and bravery of those boys alive.Craig.
